Does ViewsBase pay creators for me?
No. ViewsBase works out what each creator is owed and keeps the ledger. You pay creators your usual way and mark the posts paid; the creator is told. There is no fee on creator pay.
Is there a limit on creators or team seats?
No. Every plan has unlimited campaigns, creators and seats. Plans differ by posts per month, how often views refresh, and a few team and agency features.
What counts as a tracked post?
A post that passes the checks and is tracked this month, on any platform. Rejected posts are free, and old posts never fill up your plan.
Do creators need to connect their accounts?
No logins or passwords. A creator verifies a TikTok, Instagram or YouTube handle with a code in their bio or channel description. ViewsBase reads public post data from verified handles and from the links you add. Creators upload an analytics recording only when a campaign asks for one.
Which platforms do you track?
TikTok, Instagram and YouTube Shorts. New posts from verified handles import on their own; you can also paste any post link.
How often do view counts update?
Every 24 h on Starter, 12 h on Growth and 6 h on Scale and Agency, while a post is in its counting window. YouTube Shorts update once a day on every plan. When a counting window ends, the next check sets the amount, and then it does not change. On Scale and up you can also refresh a single post whenever you like.
How do you spot fake views?
Four checks: a minimum view count per campaign, a flag on view jumps that come without matching comments and shares, an AI review of a screen recording of the creator's analytics, and a bad post detector that checks TikTok posts sent through Discord for your app and a call to action. All four are in every plan. Flagged posts are held for your decision; nothing is rejected for you except posts under the minimum.
What happens if I track more posts than my plan?
On Starter and Growth we warn you at 80% and 100%, and new posts keep counting for a short grace period. Then new posts wait until you upgrade; posts you already track keep updating. On Scale and Agency you can turn on extra posts at $3 per 100 extra posts ($30 per 1,000), billed in blocks of 100, with no ceiling, and set an optional monthly limit for them. For custom pricing or invoicing at very large volume, email team@viewsbase.com.
Can my clients log in?
On the Agency plan, yes. Each client gets its own workspace, and you can give a client a read-only login that shows the same numbers you see, plus branded reports with a share link, where you choose whether to include spend.
What if a creator's account is taken over?
When a creator changes their payout details, every screen where you pay them shows a badge until someone on your team checks it. The creator gets an email, and one click on “Wasn't me” locks their payouts.
