Creator Accounts

A creator has one ViewsBase account for their email. It works across every brand and agency that uses ViewsBase. Each brand sees only its own campaigns for that creator. A creator sees only their own posts, earnings and rate.

Creators open the app at viewsbase.com/c. It has four tabs: Home, Campaigns, Accounts and Payouts.

Signing in

1. Go to viewsbase.com/login.
2. Choose Creator.
3. Enter your email. ViewsBase emails you a 6-digit code.
4. Enter the code.

New here? The same steps create your account. There are no passwords. A code works for 10 minutes. If you ask for codes too often, ViewsBase asks you to wait.

Old access codes. Creators who had an access code can choose Have an old access code? on the sign-in page. Teams may also send an old link that looks like viewsbase.com/creator/.... Both open a page that moves the creator's history to an email account in one step. See Moving from ViewsBase 1 to 2.

Verify your handles

Teams see only verified accounts. To verify a handle:

1. Open Accounts, then Link an account.
2. Choose TikTok, Instagram or YouTube and enter your handle. For YouTube, enter the channel's @handle.
3. Copy the code that ViewsBase shows.
4. Add it anywhere in your bio. For YouTube, add it to your channel description. Your account must be public while ViewsBase checks.
5. Choose Check my bio (YouTube: Check my channel).

Bio changes can take a few minutes to show, and ViewsBase checks again for you. The code works for 48 hours. When the handle is verified, you can remove the code.

A handle is on one account at a time. If another ViewsBase account already has your handle, adding the code to your bio moves the handle to you. Its campaigns and unpaid earnings move with it. The other account gets an email that says what moved and what to do if it was not them.

Remove a handle. Choose Remove on the handle. ViewsBase shows what changes first. Your campaigns and earnings stay on your account. Teams cannot add you to new campaigns through that handle until you verify it again. Pending applications with that handle are withdrawn.

Campaigns follow your verified handle

• A team adds a handle you have verified: you are added at once, and you get an email.
• You verify a handle that a team already added, in any workspace: those campaigns link to your account.

A creator who has not made an account yet shows as No ViewsBase account yet on the team's Creators tab.

Joining a campaign

A campaign has a join link, such as viewsbase.com/j/campaign-name. The team chooses who can use it:

• Invite only. Only creators the team adds or invites can join. Others see that the campaign is invite only.
• Applications. You apply on the link. The team approves each application. Approving adds you to the campaign.
• Open to everyone. Any creator with a verified account joins at once.

Creators the team already added join with the link without applying, in every mode. A paused campaign shows a closed page.

The link works with TikTok, Instagram or YouTube accounts. A campaign can accept only some platforms. If the team added questions, you answer them when you join or apply. Questions can ask for text, a choice, a photo or a clip.

One application for each handle. If you have several handles, apply with each one, or choose Apply with all. You do not wait for a reply on one before you apply with the next. Each handle shows its own state: Apply, Applied · in review or Joined. You can have up to 10 applications open on one campaign. Wait for a reply on one before you apply for an 11th.

If the team passes on an application, you get an email. The email goes out after a short delay, so the team can undo a pass.

A team can also send a personal one-time invite from Discord with /invite-to-campaign. It works for 7 days.

How you get paid

Open Payouts to save details. See Payment Engine for the methods and fields. The short version:

• You save one set of details for each method: Wise, bank transfer, UPI, crypto or PayPal.
• Saving needs a 6-digit code by email.
• You choose one saved method for each campaign. A campaign pays only with the methods the team turned on.
• If you change saved details, the team sees a warning for 72 hours, and you get an email with a Wasn't me link.

The campaign page

Choose a campaign on Campaigns. The page shows:

• Your rate: for example "$1.50 per 1K views", up to what amount or views, and how long views count.
• Earnings in three numbers: Counting, Ready to pay and Paid.
• Posts, each with a status and a reason when something is not paid.
• A box to submit a post link, when the campaign takes submissions on the web.
• Link in bio, Resources and the Discord channel, when the campaign has them.
• How you get paid, to choose or change your method for this campaign.

If you joined with several handles, the page has a switcher: All and one tab for each handle.

Post statuses:

Notifications and your email

Open Settings with the round button that shows your initial, at the top right. The bell next to it opens Activity, your list of updates.

• Notifications. Choose email or Discord for payment summaries and analytics upload reminders. Application updates come by email. Security notices always come by email.
• Sign-in email. Choose Change. ViewsBase sends a code to your current email, then asks for the new email and sends a code there. Then you sign in with the new email, and other devices are signed out. Your old email gets a This wasn't me link that locks the account and its payouts. The team sees Sign-in email changed on your payout for 72 hours.

Security

• You see only your own data. Rates and payout details are never shown to other creators.
• Each brand sees only its own campaigns for you.
• Share a personal old link only with the creator it belongs to.
